About the Role
The Company is seeking a Career Coach to join their student support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing career coaching to students and alumni, with a focus on empowering them to explore their majors and careers, understand themselves, and gain experience to achieve their post-graduation goals. This role involves expanding the career ecosystem on campus by building professional relationships with faculty and campus partners, as well as providing resources to integrate a career readiness framework into the student experience. The Career Coach will also be involved in designing and implementing programmatic efforts to scale career readiness services and resources, and will act as ambassadors of career readiness, promoting the importance of career exploration and preparation. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should be unequivocally student-centered, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships of trust and support. The role requires a commitment to innovation, creativity, and high-quality work, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and manage multiple projects. The ideal candidate will be an active learner, dedicated to continuous development, and demonstrate effective customer service skills. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a Master's degree in a related field, and a minimum of one year of professional work experience. Experience in a university career services office is also preferred. The candidate should be prepared to engage in a variety of professional development opportunities and be dedicated to the mission of the company in supporting students' career development.
