About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technical vision, architecture, and culture of its mission-critical health and education technology platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the technical strategy, modernizing and scaling the backend, and guiding the development of applications across multiple user groups. This role also involves building and mentoring a high-performing engineering organization, ensuring compliance, security, and scalability in a healthcare/education context, and partnering with leadership on fundraising, product strategy, and market expansion. The ideal CTO for the company will have a proven track record as a senior technical leader, with expertise in scaling SaaS platforms, and a strong preference for those with experience in edtech or healthtech. Familiarity with Medicaid claims billing or compliance-driven systems is a plus. The role requires hands-on technical depth in Ruby on Rails, Flutter, React, and cloud infrastructure, as well as exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic acumen. The candidate should thrive in founder-led, high-expectation environments and be prepared to define the technical future of a platform with national expansion potential.
