Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Quincy, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for managing data with precision and efficiency, ensuring all entries are accurate and well-organized. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude to support various administrative and data management tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately input and update data into designated systems and databases.
• Manage and organize files to ensure easy access and retrieval of information.
• Perform calculations and verify data for accuracy and completeness.
• Handle email correspondence related to data entry tasks and customer inquiries.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to create and maintain records and reports.
• Scan documents and ensure they are properly filed and categorized.
• Maintain high-speed typing accuracy to meet daily productivity goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with team members to improve data entry processes and workflows.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in 10-key typing with high accuracy.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated experience with data entry and maintaining organized records.
• Familiarity with email correspondence and attention to detail in communication standards.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word applications.
• Ability to perform calculations and verify numerical data.
• Skilled in scanning and organizing files for efficient storage.
• Proven ability to type quickly and accurately to meet operational demands.
