Emergency Medicine Physicians at McDonough District Hospital provide urgent medical care to a high volume of patients in a 10-bed Emergency Department with 12-hour shifts. The role requires board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine, along with ACLS and PALS certifications. Physicians lead key hospital initiatives, collaborate with advanced practice providers, and benefit from flexible scheduling and competitive pay in a supportive community hospital setting near Macomb, Illinois.

• 14,600+ Yearly Volume (40 pts/day)
• 12 hr shifts 8-8
• ED Beds: 10
• Collaborative physician for APP
• Must participate in and lead EDAP & Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Initiative

McDonough District Hospital is centered in Macomb, Illinois, home to NCAA Division I Western Illinois University and Spoon River College.
