Fire Extinguisher Technician – Immediate Openings

Location: Oakland, CA Area

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and installations on fire extinguishers and emergency lighting for established customers on a scheduled basis
• Complete inspection and service paperwork accurately and promptly
• Communicate effectively with customers, explaining work performed and any necessary repairs
• Maintain equipment in an organized, safe manner
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations

Additional Details:

• Currently, there is no company truck. Technicians use their own vehicles and are reimbursed for mileage.

Qualifications:

• Level 1 Fire Extinguisher License (CA)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Highly proactive, taking initiative and ownership of projects
• Strong work ethic with the ability to manage time effectively
• Excellent customer service skills, organizational abilities, and a positive attitude
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
