Noi Solutions is a fully vertical, strategic apparel manufacturing and sourcing company with owned factories in Asia. We work with major retailers from design to production in cut and sew knits, denim, athletic wear, and sweaters.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Sweater Designer with strong technical expertise and a contemporary design sensibility to join our creative team on a project basis. You will be
responsible for the full design process of sweaters—from initial concept through to technical
specs—ensuring both aesthetic appeal and production-ready quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop seasonal sweater concepts aligned with brand direction, trend research, and target customer.
• Create original sweater designs including detailed flat sketches, colorways, and mood boards.
• Build and maintain comprehensive tech packs including stitch diagrams, yarn details, and fit specs for development and production teams.
• Collaborate with technical designer, Production team and factories to ensure feasibility of designs from both a cost and construction standpoint.
Qualifications:
• Experience in sweater design within women’s fashion apparel brands.
• Strong understanding of knitwear construction, yarns, gauge, tension, and manufacturing techniques.
• Proficiency in Adobe programs.
• Experience creating detailed tech packs and working with overseas factories.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
• A strong portfolio showcasing sweater design work with both creative and technical depth.
• Experience in contemporary market space.
• Experience working with cut and sew knits a plus.
