About the Role
We’re seeking a dependable, hands-on CDL Driver to join our team in Brighton, MI.
This DOT/FMCSA-compliant position is a hybrid driving role, combining roll-off hauling and “Smash” operations. You’ll operate both our International HX620 roll-off truck and our Kenworth T270 equipped with our proprietary Smash Machine, helping customers reduce waste volume and maximize efficiency.
This position is perfect for a skilled CDL driver who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in safe, high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently on a daily route
Perform roll-off dumpster hauling, delivery, and pickup across assigned accounts
Operate the Smash My Trash truck to compact waste safely and effectively
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs and records
Ensure full compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
Report maintenance needs and mechanical issues promptly
Provide exceptional customer service at every job site
Promote and uphold a safety-first culture and professional work environment
Qualifications
Valid Class A or B CDL with 3+ years of commercial driving experience
Do not apply if you do not meet this requirement
Accident- and violation-free for the past 5 years
Clean MVR and consistent work history
Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA compliance, pre/post-trip inspections, and logs
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Comfortable using smartphones and technology for route management
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, home daily (occasional short regional travel)
Shift: Approx. 5am–1pm (may vary slightly depending on the day)
Work Mix: Roll-Off Hauling + Smash Operations
Location: Brighton, MI — covering Livingston County & surrounding areas
Compensation: $27 – $28 per hour (based on experience)
