Our Professional Clinical Practice team focuses on clinical excellence, quality improvement, and educational support across our behavioral health facilities. We foster collaboration and continuous learning while offering flexibility and national impact through education and standardization efforts.

How you'll contribute

A Manager of Behavioral Health Education (RN) who excels in this role:

  • Leads efforts for Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) education for staff and providers across Lifepoint Health
  • Collaborates with behavioral health leaders to develop education plans and implement training programs
  • Identifies educational resources and tools to improve patient safety and staff/provider competencies
  • Partners with online education platforms to meet staff learning needs
  • Provides onsite assistance with drills, simulations, and in-person trainings
  • Develops and maintains vendor relationships
  • Applies evidence-based clinical practices in support of facility leaders
  • Reviews and updates behavioral health policies and procedures to meet state and national requirements
  • Works cross-functionally with hospital staff and nursing leadership to align clinical education strategies

What we're looking for

Applicants should be experienced behavioral health professionals with a strong clinical education background. Key requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's in Nursing Education preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of behavioral health experience (adult, adolescent, and/or pediatric)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License required; Multi-state license preferred
  • Preferred Handle with Care experience
  • Experience in adult education, regulatory compliance, and curriculum development
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
