Our esteemed client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Power Supply to lead their power supply team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing our power supply portfolio, including fuel purchasing and utility management. This position will also be responsible for strategic decision-making to ensure efficient and cost-effective power supply operations. Relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the power supply portfolio, including fuel purchasing, utility management, and strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize power supply operations and reduce costs.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with power suppliers and utility companies.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to align power supply operations with the overall business strategy.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to power supply and utility management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in power supply or utility management.
- A thorough working knowledge of the electric utility industry.
- Proven experience in fuel purchasing and contract negotiation.
- Exceptional strategic decision-making abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stay informed about industry trends and adapt to changes.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Willingness to relocate (relocation assistance provided).
