The Role of pizza “catcher” is equivalent to a food expeditor. Your duties are to maintain/manage a productive order flow with client’s orders that are coming out of the pizza oven, and have the ability to assemble, box, and plate all food based off the desired order type. Essentially, the pizza maker/cook will place the order(s) in the oven and will monitor the food while staging the desired plating items for an expedited flow.
Responsibilities include:
- Ability to multitask (monitor cooking food while constantly staging proper packaging)
- Visually inspect menu items for accuracy and quality
- Collaborate with Chef to maintain proper flow
- Plate, box, and/or garnish food items for cashiers/customers
- Ensure products and garnish(s) are fresh and to quality standards
- Prep the garnishes before and after each shift
- Stock, organize, and clean all packaging and paper products used in station

- - Basic food safety understanding and practice
- - Food service preferred, not required
- - Minimum age – 18 years old
- - Part-time only - MUST be willing to work nights and weekends
- - Wage is depending on experience
