What You’ll Do: As a Sales & Flooring Specialist, you’ll be more than a salesperson—you’ll be a trusted advisor. You’ll guide customers through flooring options with confidence and creativity, combining your technical product knowledge with genuine customer care to create spaces they’ll love. Help customers discover flooring solutions that match their lifestyle, needs, and style Recommend products and services that align with project goals and budgets Drive store sales by turning consultations into confident purchases Ensure every customer experience ends with satisfaction and trust What You Bring: Preferably 2–5 years of sales experience in flooring, construction, or home improvement—but if you’re a quick learner with a strong customer focus and drive to succeed, we still want to hear from you! Base compensation: $52,000/year On Target Earnings: $80,000-$120,000/Year Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 yearly Responsibilities: What You'll Be Responsible For: Stay informed on industry trends, new product offerings, and competitor activity to provide knowledgeable recommendations and stay ahead of the curve Confidently guide customers through the sales process—negotiating, closing deals, and ensuring profitability while delivering top-tier service Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to drive repeat business and long-term customer loyalty Actively network and prospect within the community to identify new opportunities and expand the client base Collaborate closely with installation and service teams to ensure a smooth, successful project from sale to completion Qualifications: What You'll Bring to the Table: Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills—you know how to connect with people and earn their trust A valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel locally as needed to meet with clients or attend job sites A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor’s degree is a plus Comfortable using technology and familiar with CRM systems or other sales tools to manage leads and track progress Ideally, 3 years of sales experience—especially in a customer-facing or consultative role About Company Join the Carpet City Flooring Center Team – Where Your Career Grows!
