				  Job Summary - Why you'll love this position    As a Training Coordinator you will be part of a team committed to excellence. It is the job of the Training Division to provide education and professional growth for over 700 people serving our indigent clients. As a coordinator, you will be responsible for the logistics of the training, working with the training directors to meet the needs of our employees while creating a safe environment for learning and growth. The work is fast-paced and requires a creative mind that enjoys the finer details. 
 Responsibilities - What you'll do    Coordinate logistics for MSPD trainings including: 
-  Register participants for in-system and out-of-system trainings 
-  Make and update lodging and travel arrangements 
-  Communicate with the training directors, presenters, caterers and attendees 
-  Organize training materials such as agendas and handouts 
-  Order supplies 
-  Assist with marketing and design of training visuals 
-  Design signs, nametags, digital media, promotional items and apparel for the trainings 
 Manage training day logistics including: 
-  Facility setup 
-  Audio/Visual technology setup and operation 
-  Troubleshoot last-minute needs to ensure a successful learning experience 
-  Note attendance of participants and faculty 
-  Apply for continuing education credits after trainings with the Missouri Bar 
 Most importantly, you will work on meaningful projects that support public defender staff and impact client services. 
 Qualifications - All you need for success  Minimum Qualifications:    -  A bachelor's degree and at least one year of professional or technical work experience. 
-  A combination of education and work experience will be considered to meet qualification requirements, as lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis for denying consideration to any applicant. 
Preferred Qualifications: -  Attention to detail, strong recordkeeping and documentation skills 
-  Problem-solving and research abilities 
-  Excellent customer service skills 
-  Willingness to take initiative 
-  Flexibility with work hours for training events 
-  Occasional overnight travel to training events 
-  Proficiency in spreadsheets, A/V equipment, and virtual training platforms 
-  Strong verbal and written communication skills 
-  Self-motivation and a collaborative team mindset 
-  Strong commitment to MSPD's mission to provide zealous representation to clients and effective training for all employees

 Salary range is $50, 256 - 54, 072 per year, based on experience. 
 The salary listed reflects the base pay rate. Verified prior state service, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, may increase total compensation.
