Legal Assistant

PrideStaff on behalf of a law office is seeking a professional and eager Legal Assistant to join their busy law firm in Plantation! The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience working in a law office but also willing to learn! Great entry-level position!

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling hearings, mediation, depositions, client meetings and other appointments
• Completing intake forms and ongoing follow-up communication with clients
• Answer calls and greet clients
• Take down important information and add it to the system.
• Assist with setting up meetings and presentations
• Data Entry

Qualifications:

• Computer proficiency
• (1+) years of recent experience working in a law firm is preferred
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks in an organized fashion with attention to detail
• Must be willing to take initiative and assist with other tasks when needed
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Monday through Friday 8:30AM- 5:00PM

Must be able to submit to a background check and a drug screen
