Ottawa Area ISD is excited to announce a part-time, job share, teaching position at our Ottawa Area Center (OAC), which is dedicated to serving special needs students.
Description : Individual needed to work with post-secondary aged students with severe cognitive impairments and autism. Highly individualized strategic instruction along with personalized whole child plans will be developed to promote skills acquisition and independence. This teacher will need to remain flexible to adapt to the needs of the students each year in order to promote their post-secondary goals. The teacher will work collaboratively with a team of professionals, including community supports. Job Type: Regular, non-substitute.
Schedule: Half-time (0.50 fte)
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance available with the option to take cash in lieu of insurance, per the terms of the OAEA contract.
Compensation: Per OAEA contract; $56,486 minimum (prorated due to part-time status of this position to $28,243).
